2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft @ the brewery. Golden yellow with a small white head. Floral, lightly buttery aroma. Sweeter flavour than expected, grassy notes, light bitterness. (5+) Average palate.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
341 mL bottle. Slightly darker than most pilsners, with almost no head. The aroma is quite mild; sweet, grassy, mild hops. The taste is pretty mild as well; mostly sweet malt. Thin. Medium carbonation. This beer needs to be a little crisper to be considered a proper pilsner. Not great.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours ultra-clear. The color and scent of honey pervades the glass. Highly carbonated and tastes a lot like honey but mellowed. Doesn’t do it for me.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hoppy nose and pours a cloudy yellow with a short head. Medium hoppy palate with a slight bitter aftertaste. It’s a full flavored pilsner from a great brewery.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
341ml bottle, 4.8% a/v
Gold in colour with your average white head. Nothing special in the appearance. Nose is of malt some fruit and some honey. Taste is sweet, honey and not hoppy enough for my liking. Very thin mouthfeel.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a deep yellow to golden color, with next to no head which disappears almost immediately. Aroma has a tiny bit of honey, but is mainly some faint malt and a bit of hops. Initially it tastes mostly just like a pilsner, nicely bitter. It’s a little bit sweeter than average, and the aftertaste is of honey. It’s reasonably highly carbonated, and is a bit watery. Thanks Presario!

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Sweet flavoured beer. Liked it more on first tasting. As i went back to it for repeat tasting it had less and less appeal for me.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a dull gold with a small head. Rich, immersive aroma of honey and clover. Slightly more aggressive hopping than other honey beers I’ve tasted, but still very sweet - strong, strong honey! Weak, thin body, decent carb. Not a bad beer, the honey is a good cover for what probably would have been a sweet beer anyway, though.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
341 mL bottle, part of a mixed pack from a Burnaby liquor store.
App.: medium-light golden, clear with no head. Aroma: light floral honey, cereal and wheat. Palate: medium-thin body, lively and sharp carbonation. Flav.: light cereal, grain, a touch of honey, maybe some floral hops...?
Too light. I have no use for “honey” brews.
