500ml can. clear golden pour, very very light nose of floral hops, and some light grains. Flavor was quite thin, and a touch watery, not awful, but not great. A good lawnmower beer.

Tree brewing’s kelowna Pilsner. 4.8% drunk from the can.  2.60$ for a 500ml can. Pale gold pour, thick head. Light malts, crackery aroma. The taste is light grains, crackers, bread crust, sharply bitter finish. Meh it is ok, though it has an odd earthy nutty character to it. It is a pilsner made without pilsner malt - not to style.

Kind of reminds me of hemp beer. Must be the use of 'weed' in the name that's throwing me off, eh? As an aside, people in Vancouver really do say "eh", but they do not call each other "hosers" as the film "Strange Brew" would lead you to believe. But back to the beer - possesses a sweet smell and a tad more flavor than an ordinary lager. In a 10-lager tasteoff, I'd say this came in above average.

UPDATED: JUL 8, 2007 Brilliant gold, white head. Light sweet nose. A slightly sweeter than normal lager. Nothing special. Decent body

Light, refreshing, attractive looking not much going on taste wise. standard classic american pilsener good for a hot summers day. Suprisingly good hop profile though for this style. easily the best pilsner in BC. thats not saying much though.

500 ml can. Calgary, AB, Canada.
Clear golden colour with small to average foamy white head. Grainy cereal malt, some sweetness and hints of grassy hops in aroma. Grainy malty and grassy bitter hoppy flavour. Some mild unpleasantness in bitter aftertaste.

341mL bottle poured a pale golden color with a modest head that settled to almost no lacing. Aromas of grain and some hops. Taste is mostly hoppy bitterness with a hint of malt sweetness from the grain. Just another average pale ale.

bottle. Poured golden with a thinning white head, nice lacing. Aroma of wheat, a touch grainy. Medium body but somewhat flat. The taste is blander than expected, common grainy flavour with a little citrusy hop and caramel notes.

Comes across as very malty. A little earthy, and has a herbal hoppy flavour that is a little unbalanced against the malt presence. I was weird but through the middle I thought I tasted coffee. Anyway this is the second I have had this year and the design on the can has changed, and that is never a good sign.
