A big and bold brown ale! This complex beer delivers a roasted nut and hop aroma, followed by a full-bodied taste explosion. A subtle blend of caramel, hazelnut and cocoa lead the way to a prominent hop finish. < /b> Info from Tree Brew Website: Hops - Warrior, Cascade, Crystal, Centennial Malt - Pale, Dark Munich, ESB, Chocolate, Dark Crystal

Aroma is a light earthiness, pinecone, clove, straw and caramel. Taste is sweet roasted malts and caramel. Balance quite well with a medium deep hop profile that is clove ,citrus and a very slight funk. Appearance is a clear amber with a medium pearl head that retains quite well.

Not a terrible brown. Pours a dark murky amber with a thin beige head. The nose is nutty, toasted malts, light cocoa, a bit of floral and spice hop. Well balanced but a little bland for me.

Visual: Pours light cola brown with a small lasting foamy head, 1mm layer of retention, several spread out singular steady streams. Nose: light toasted malts, toffee caramel. (lvl-6)-pungency Attack: crisp, incoming sweet malts Mid-palate: (lvl-7)-sweetness, (MAIN) brown sugar, toasted malts, nutty -> hopped bitterness Finish: lingering soft hopped malty bitter finish. Summary: Quite balanced and pleasant, though not really limited like they claim. Although their 6-packs are only 5.6% ABV where as this bomber is 5.8%.

Hazy medium brown. Thick head. Aroma is quite toasty but with some citrus character and a bit of piney/minty note. Quite bitter, lean, toasty, and a bit of balance.

Bottle, the fifth beer on TvM’s Bachelor Party Northwest Ale Trail Expedition. Hazy deep golden amber, rocky off white head that lasts. Pleasing aroma of brown bread with citrus. Bready malts, milk chocolate, bright hop character, carbonation is on the lively side, moderate sweetness, long assertive bitterness. A nice India brown ale.

Bottle. Darkish brown pour with an off-white head. Aroma is malty with some chocolate and roasty notes, a touch of fruit. Flavour is much the same, but with a surprising hoppy bite, a little citrus zest and a little herbal. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A flavourful and balanced brown ale, but nothing extraordinary.

ENG: 650ml bottle from Liquor Mart Winnipeg. Poured into the tulip. Dark brown, iridescent color, medium cream head and some lacing. Aromas of chocolate, nuts, coffee, caramel malts and some piney hops. Tastes mostly caramel, chocolate and nuts in the background. Delicate bitter finish. Quite oily, medium carbonated and medium bodied. Balanced beer with nothing what strikes you noticeably, nonetheless very pleasant, drinkable beer.

PL: Butelka 650ml kupiona w Liquor Mart w Winnipeg. Przelana do kieliszka. Ciemno-brązowa barwa, opalizująca, średnia kremowa piana i nieco lejsingu. Aromaty czekolady, orzechów, kawy, słodów karmelowych i nieco żywicznych chmieli. Smak karmelowy, czekoladowy i orzechowy w tle. Delikatna goryczka pod koniec. Całkiem oleiste, średnio nasycone i średnie ciało. Mocno zbalansowane piwo, w którym nie ma dominujących smaków ani aromatów, mimo wszystko bardzo przyjemnie pijalne.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Dark mahogany color, almost black, with beige creamy head. The roastiness in this beer is under control, it has some chocolate, it’s rather dry and highly carbonated, quite bitter, presents hidden hop qualities, but also light chicory traits and yeast.
Good beer.
