Bottled (shared by brunnsbe, thanks!). Very deep amber colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is mild ashes, some toasted notes raspberries and also some strange sweetish notes. Flavor is raspberries, ashes, some roasted malts, mild red berries as well as some slight toffeeish notes.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Light brown colour. Not much head. The aroma has some raspberry and some toasty notes. On the palate, it is quite toasty with hints of chocolate. The raspberry is at times understated, at times overstated. There is no cohesiveness here, in either the palate and aroma. These two flavours do go together, just not in this beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Deep brown beer with a thin tan head. Aroma is a little bit chewy with a lots of dark malts topped by sweet raspberry. There is a light tartness in front of the sweet chocolate character. It’s got a fairly strong raspberry flavour as it starts to warm up. Tastes like chocolate covered raspberries. The body is a little bit thin, but it’s not a bad beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at Doc Willoughby’s in Kelowna. very dark brown almost black body with a good creamy beige head. Muted raspberry aroma with mocha roast malt undertones. Flavour has a large, artificial raspberry character. Reminds me of milkshake flavouring, or the syrups they add to gourmet coffees. Underlying beer notes take a secondary role to the raspberry. Average to medium palate. Interesting, but a bit unbalanced.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear brown pour with a modest short lived head. Aroma of chocolate with undertones of raspberry jam. Palate is equal portions chocolate and caramel malt and raspberry essence. Quite thin unfortunately. I agree with Crit that there is no way that this can be their Spy Porter. It just comes across as too thin and with no roast. Still not bad.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle [650ml]. Pours a clear deep amber-brown with an average size fizzy/frothy beige head. Aroma of lightly roasted malt, raspberries, chocolate, slight lactic notes, vegetal notes and light hops. Flavour of chocolate and raspberries first followed by lightly roasted malt and a bit of metal. Light roasty finish. A bit watery and a bit thin but not overly. Average bodied. Pretty good, simple but still pleasant.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nose of raspberry soda, chocolate, and lightly roasted malts. Pours cola brown with no head or lace. The flavor is not very complex - really just a mix of chocolate, light roast, light nutty notes, raspberry seltzer and a hint of cola. Light body with medium carbonation. I feel its more of a fruit beer than porter. Light lingering roast and raspberry soda.
