Bottle. Pours a medum amber with a white head. Aroma is malty. Tastes really malty with light hoppiness. A really good amber ale, great for those who like malty beers.

Amber colored amber ale with white foam. Aroma is pleasant roasted malt and light hop character. Flavor of caramel and light red fruits with zesty hop undertones. Finish is thin and lacks complexity but this beer is good for drinking without thinking too hard.

Bottle. 5%. Clear, copper ale from Kelowna, nice, moderate white foam. Taste is malt, hops, little caramel, fairly sweet, but no linger in the finish. Aroma is quite nice, however, this beer presents very well.

Clear orange color. Some amount of sweet malts on the nose as well as buttery notes. Buttery taste with bitter flavors.

Nice enough looking beer, at least, with an appealing amber (duh!) colour, accompanied by a mild malt-infused aroma. Taste was like it was "tinned", not really much to like about this beer, sadly.

UPDATED: AUG 28, 2009 500 ml can. This is a good-looking beer. Pours a nice light copper colour with a big creamy head that unfortunately does not last long. Not much aroma. Has a nice body. Typical pale malt flavor. As the beer warms up, and the carbonation subsides a little, the malt flavor starts to sweeten and noticeably improve. The hop flavour is not that strong.

Thirsty beaver one of my favorite party beers high quality, inexpensive, and the name and label are great conversation topics. Honey brown in color and maybe just a touch of red, a medium sized tan head caps of this brew, a good sized skiff remains after a minuet or two. A very light hop aroma is present followed some nice caramel malts, overall the sent is smooth and rich, but could be a touch stronger it’s a little difficult to detect. The taste is very nice light hops built on a good strong malt back bone, dam so very malty, so much rich tasty malt flavor, accented perfectly with light hops. The beer is full bodied and creamy and leaves a sweet bready after taste. Such a good beer well crafted with tons of flavor."

Deep, clear copper in colour with an ok sized white head. Almost zero lacing. Smells of sweet toasted malts, very mild floral touch and a good freshness. The malts really come out as you near the bottom of the glass. Medium to heavy bodied for this style. Lots of tasty fresh malts with slight caramel in the background. Clean feel and a real solid feel to it. The lack of aftertaste forces you to the fridge for another. I swear I am not copying the review before this. This is sooo much better than the last time I had this - I had actually considered it sub-par and a waste of money. No longer. Another tasty beer from Tree Brewing.

Not too impressed with this one. Too much malt sweetness compared to hop bitterness. not much going on aroma wise .Watery. Its not terrible just not too great.

A gorgeous colour. Shades of brown, peach, amber and orange all working in harmony. Nose has soft fruits, warm sugar and soap. Peanut blanket, bitter hops, unsalted butter, caramel and more soap. Less harmony here. Finish is long with Worther’s Original and malt. Roller coaster beer - starts of with a bang, fades in the middle then finishes strong.
