20 oz Pint from Original Joe’s Lethbridge. Light aroma, light brown colour. Flavor of malt and caramel. Rather hopy finish, Good beer.

Bottle. Sunset orange-amber with a small off-white head. Nice aroma of toasted barley, a but fruity, with mellow hops to balance. Flavour follows, with a slight apple note, and hops that are a bit more prominent in the finish than suggested by the aroma. Medium bodied. I did not expect much based on the kinda cheesy label, but this ended up being a nice, balanced, drinkable ale.

Bottle from variety pack. Pours a shimmering deep amber with a 3 finger puffy cap that laces well on the glass. Aroma is nice: lots of toasty maltiness, caramel sweetness bit of musty fruitiness from the yeas under a predominant citrus-floral hop aroma..I like malty beers so this aroma is ambrosia to me. Moderate body with a good malt spine, chunky mouth feel with a malty-toffee-floral character. Up front the lush caramelized malts predominate then the fruit-citrus and herbal bittering create some mild complexity, Finish is thick, malty and lightly bitter. My favorite Tree brew.

An orangish-golden pour, with an offwhite, almost dirty looking head. A soft and sweet maltiness... almost a creamy malt quality. A bit of a corn scent. Kinda interesting A similar corn-husk / creamed corn note in it. Otherwise malty and a slight honey hint. A smooth, medium body. Soft, shimmering carbonation. A nice, clean finish... the mouthfeel is basically just as the brewer describes. An easy going amber, easy drinker, and good session brew.

Great name for sure. Normal and boring aroma but nice malty taste. Aroma is of hops and sweet malts. Taste is slightly caramel, and malty. Medium bodied and smooth mouthfeel. Slight bitter aftertaste, but a great beer. Comparable to Yukon Arctic Red.

bottle: I must admit I’m giving this one a couple of extra points based on the name alone. Hoppy aroma with an unidentifiable sweetness. Pours a light amber with an ample head. Goes down smooth and easy with a slight bitterness on the back of the palate. What can I say......I love beaver!

Very light amber. Big head. Very light, but pronounced hops make this enjoyable. Nothing special, but drinkable.

Draft @ the brewery. Amber body with a small white head. Moderately fruity aroma and flavour. Light buttery hints, light bitterness throughout. Slightly fuller than average palate. Drinkable but a bit dull.

341 mL bottle. Amber colour with a small, diminishing, beige head. Mild aroma is sweet malt with a faint undercurrent of hops. Flavour is caramel malt with a little hazelnut, and some decent hops at the end. Quick finish. Light body, medium carbonation.

Not nearly as delightful as the brewer’s IPA, but the Amber is crisp, refreshing, and quaffable. Might fit the mood if hop-assault isn’t on the agenda. Balanced. Decent hoppy finish too but nothing about the beer is outstanding or might distinguish it from any of the other "amber ales" out there.
