Poured from a 500ml can. Dark amber body. Off white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is light maltiness. Mouthfeel is thin, but grainy. Medium-high carbonation. Taste is sweet, biscuity, light caramel malts, mild bitterness. A simple, easy drinking amber ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 ml can, advertised as medium body, colour was ok and taste was ok. All around okay beer. Not great/not poor, just okay.

500ml can into an English pint. Pours a clear amber, pillowy beige head, yet minimal lace. Light hop, a bit of caramel. Light caramel sweetness, a bit metallic, also a bit of a soapy feel. Wholly mediocre.

355 ml can, Calgary, AB, Canada via Coop. Light amber, frothy head. Metallic hop aroma, some caramel and cardamom. Weaker flavour than expected, some caramel and herbal hops. Not overly sweet which helps, though a slightly off aftertaste.

355 ml can from a sampler twelve-pack from Sobeys Liquor outlet, served in a lager flute glass (wrong choice, I know). Pours a very attractive clear medium amber, light carbonation, with a bone-white head that rapidly vanishes, leaving no lace. Aroma is of slightly sweet malts, caramel, and dark spiced red fruit, touched with bitterness; flavor is slightly bitter caramel, some kind of aromatic wood, and spiced fruit, with a ’chewy’ mouthfeel and medium body. Spice and sweetness linger softly. Nice amber ale with good balance and just enough complexity.

6-pack from The Beer Store. Pours a clean rich amber colour with a frothy warm cap that stays a while and leaves creamy lacing. Aromas are very mild with this one. Mildly malty at first with some hints of grass and citrus that come afterwards. Malty taste as well, with light caramel malts, nuts and not very good hops. I like this brewery, but this is probably my least favourite brew from them. Yeah, really don’t like the mix of that hop with caramel malts. Got 5 bottles to get rid of :(

[5490-20130616] Bottle. Fresh cereal grains aroma. Clear, amber orange body with a quick foamy white head. Light bitter grains flavour still has a touch of that soft cereal. Medium body. Drinkable. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

Can @ AirBNB Arts Colony. Rich amber pour with a white head. Aroma is sort of nutty and toasty. A lot of caramel and bread, too. Slight grassy hop notes and dough. Flavor is mostly sweet caramel malts and bread. Slight cream and vanilla. A decent floral hop character. Mild red fruit esters, grass, and earthy bitterness. Not half bad.

Didn’t enjoy this amber too much. Found it to me sweeter than it should of been. Tasted of caramel, nuts, and a lighter hop taste. Had kind of heavier body, which stuck around in the aftertaste. Had a cute little beaver on the can.

Can from Calgary co-op. Amber with a fizzy yellow head.Very sweet nutty caramel aroma. Sweet and malty with a cereal aftertaste. Drinkable but a little sweet and sticky.
