Can. I drank this straight from the can, so I’m defaulting the appearance to "2". This was not as bad as I was expecting-- light, with lightly sweet raspberry character, finish is dry. Not bad.

Pours light redish. Light malts mixed with raspberry flavouring. The fruit is underwhelming. Finishes up with a a little bit of hops at the end.

Rating #1005 - February 25, 2014. 1 oz sample from leftover summer taster 5%. Pours a deep pinkish with a bubbly white head. Aroma is strong raspberry jam. Taste is light bubbly lager and more jam. Almost bordering on a beer cooler. Finish is tart, but not unpleasant. Fruit dominates the palate a touch too much for my taste, very little that is beer here.

Lagerboy (1216) - British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 1, 2014
355 ml can. Clear light amber pink, foam vanishes. Aroma of berry fruit and faint wheat. Lightly tart berry fruity taste, a bit of funky yeastiness, mildly malty, fairly clean. Average carbonation, light bodied, low hopped. Not too exciting. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy liht amber color with compact head. A reasonable Ale, with some malt, caramel; dry and light mouthfeel; correct bitterness; luckily the raspberry is limited to just a hint, providing a light acidity.

Boutip (4699) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 29, 2013
Can: Poured a golden color ale with light pink hazy notes and some spritzy carbonation with no retention and head lacing. Aroma of raspberry syrup with unrefined grainy notes is not the most pleasant. Taste is also dominated by fake syrupy notes of raspberry with unrefined grain malt notes and some stale hops notes. Body is light with low carbonation. It had been a while since I tasted such a bad fruit-based beer.

Reimer96 (1197) - Alberta, CANADA - SEP 28, 2013
Pours a clear pinkish amber color with a small white ring and some lace. Aroma of tart raspberries and sweet pale malts. Taste is tart raspberries mixed with sweet pale malts and a little bit of hop flavor on the finish. Overall a nice well balanced fruit beer that focuses more on real fruit than extract/juice.

Disgusting. Light ale infused with a terrible rasberry wiff. Not worth your time or the offense to your tastebuds.

Pours a clear amber/ruby colour with a small white ring of soapy foam around the glass. Aroma is mostly fresh raspberries, and mild malty notes. Flavor is malts meet mildly tangy(very close to the real thing) raspberries and a mild bitterness on the finish. Legit fruit beer for the summer though I don’t buy much for fruit beers these days.

355ml can pours a pale ruby color with seems to have a gold body when held to the light. A finger of light pinkish head adorns this brew which also displays some pretty decent lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is light raspberries with grass and grains. Taste is a light raspberry tartness with some sweet malts and a light grassy hop bitterness. Refreshing and easy to drink. I can definitely see myself drinking this one on a hot summer day.
