3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle: Pours a lightly hazy goldenrod with a fizzy white head. Aroma of green soapy hops and crystal malt. Semi-sweet dry malty body has a decent English hoppy bitter balance and a crisp, dry grainy finish. Pretty decent for an American made British IPA.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Orange / amber color with small biege head, Aroma is of malt, hops, and uh-oh - diacytel. Taste is similar, some hops, but not enough for an IPA, nice malt flavor, but dominated by diacytel. Would have made a nice ESB (but not IPA) without the diacytel problem.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Small sweet citrus orange aroma. Not much going on in the nose. Somewhat dissapointing. Transparent copper/golden color with a small off-white head. Start is somewhat bland, giving way to maltiness and hints of hoppiness wanting to break through and finally doing so in the very finish. Bitter hopped finish. An interesting IPA, but Iíd say slightly below average.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, from Julios, Ok nose, little yeasty, grassy, carmel. Orange color, big head that faded. Bittersweet flavors. Carmel and grapefruit, kinda rindy. Thinner bodied with some creaminess. Bitter sour finish. Another in the list of use to beís. As in use to be a favorite. Bottle was at the end of its best by date. More like a bitter IMO

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear, light amber with small off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet floral. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter floral. Light-medium body. This is a beer you could drink all day long and hardly notice what you've been drinking -- it's not bad, just kind of there.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAY 12, 2003 Maybe I shouldn't have drank this after having DFH 90 minute IPA. This tasted very bland, just some Fuggles hops and English malt. Average.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Good looking bright orange, thick puffy head dies quickly leaving substantial lacing. Nice malty-maply nose with hints of flowers; decent simple malty flavor, good body, not a lot of hoppiness until the very very finish. Nothing special about this at all.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Attractive looking IPA. Honey colored and transluminate. Average head. Has bitterness that I donít like(and I usually love bitterness). Donít think Iíll be having another of these, or in fact finish this one!

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Golden color with a huge foamy head. Must be an English IPA in that the malts beat out the hops - always a sad day.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden-orange hue. Clean white head with tons of lacing. Nice hoppy nose. Sweet malt with a lingering hoppy bitter finish. Hints of citrus. A fairly decent IPA .
