Nov 28, 2009 12 oz bottle from the beer of the month club - Not a bad beer, but extremely forgetable. The most memorable thing about it is the baseball player wearing the revolutionary hat on the label.

Nov 27, 2009 Clear orangeish red pour. Heavy red buttery aroma. Mainly largely relying on the malts for aroma. Taste is dry bitter. Very dry and very bitter. Some feeling of harshness. Ouch.

Nov 22, 2009 A solid session beer. Goes well with various foods. Has some fruit and pine in the nose, flavors of malts with a nice bitter finish. Body is a bit too thin.

Nov 15, 2009 Bottled. Orange/brown with thin tan head. Aroma is grass, bread, caramel. Flavor is medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, and salty. light to medium body, thin feel, average carbonation, bitter and short finish.

Almost reddish-amber with very thin off-white head, no lacing. Interesting color for a "Marzen".
Aroma of caramel, cherry, almost medicinal. Slight toast smell expected for a Marzen but not much.
What is this mess? Medicinal cherry, with caramel and toast. Metallic bitterness at finish with a bad aftertaste.
Moderate carbonation, medium body, weird off finish.
There is a reason no one mixes a Marzen with an English Ale.
