On tap at the brewpub several weeks ago. The aroma is quite hoppy with citrus tropical character, and some grapefruit. Light sweetness. No ethanol detected. Moderately hazy orange-golden body with a large, creamy off-yellow head and great lacing. Starts sweet, chewy, and piney. Some citrus grapefruit hop flavors come through in the middle. Nice balance of malts and hops. Tropical mango flavors come through in the finish. Ethanol is extremely well-hidden. Well-balanced.

Draft @ 13th Bistro Double IPA Festival, Hayward, CA. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a white head. Has a fruit malty piney hoppy grapefruit aroma with peachy hints. Fruity malty hoppy bitter piney grapefruit flavor with hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter peachy piney finish.

On tap at Bistro DIPA Fest poured a hazy gold with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, lemon zest, grapefruit and pine. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finisah. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, lemon zest, orange zest and grapefruit with a crisp dry bitter lingering citrus finish.

Tap at Capitol Beer. Pours hazy light orange with a creamy off-white head that did a little lacing. Aroma made me think of pineapple. Med body. Flavor seems to be citrus and tropical fruit. Certainly on the bitter side. Finishes fresh and fruity. And bitter. Very tasty and drinkable.

On tap at Capitol Beer, Sacramento. Pours cloudy blonde with an attractive off-white head and a bread and toffee aroma. There is a delicious caramel malt flavor with dry bitter finish. This is a great tasting triple IPA that is quite hoppy, but not over the top.

On tap at Capitol Beer and Taproom, continuing the awesome trend of debuting beers, thin disappearing head, slight resinous aroma, sweet front and bitter finish. A lot like Hop Shortage, which is a great thing.

On tap at capitol beer. Color is Orange copper. Taste is very bitter with a perfect sweet fruit hop finish. Lots of grapefruit.
