TCB Oktoberfest is brewed and aged in the German tradition. Four malts are used to give this beer’s unique copper color, pale tan head and medium body. Two different German hops are used to add to this beers crisp flavor.

Rated blind: This is clear and amber w/ a foamy head. The nose is way off: lots’ of styrofoam, acetone and apple. Full bodied but not too sweet w/ earthy bitterness in the finish. Honestly, this beer is fucken fucked.

bottle. Amber with small head. Slightly below average Oktoberfest/Marzen. Caramel malt and mild hops. Just a bit off.

Draft at a beer tasting event. Dark brownish gold color. Smells strong malt with some citrus undertones. Taste is surprisingly bitter with a sweet front of the tongue. Average to below average. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very true to style, nice malty flavor with just enough hops to balance it out. Slight sweetness and small head.

Bottle. Hazy copper body, thin off-white head. Light toasty, herbal nose. Toasty, grassy body, the caramely sweetness balanced with grassy, herbal hops. True to style, not a bastardization of the concept like some American versions, and enjoyable.

Nice fall beer. This is a cooper colored beer with a nice crisp flavor. I like this Oktoberfest better than a lot of the big boys Oktoberfests. Well done.

Pour from a 12oz bottle. Clear brownish amber brew with a fine dense frothy head and great head retention. Aroma of malts, bread, hay and grass. Taste is lightly sweet at the start with a good malt presence, finishes with a dry grassy hops that nicely blunts the sweetness. Satisfying palatte - I’ve had too many watery Oktoberfests this October and this one hits the mark. A fine and satisfying brew, very enjoyable and sure to be a mainstay for the next week or two.

smell is fruity, more yeast presence than there should be. Spicy yeast, slight metallic flavor. Deent maerzen flavor under that. Suffers what most US oktos face. I cannot pinpoint hte exact chemistry of it but the beer almost possessed a pumpkin beer like taste. like concentrated spice. perhaps a misuse of noble hops.

Pours clear copper with a thick and lacy pale orange head. Aroma of biscuit, brown sugar and malt. Medium body and carbonation. Lightly sweet taste of bread, caramel, filberts. Fairly crisp and just vaguely hoppy finish. I can see why it wouldn’t be too hard to sit around in lederhosen, and watch barmaids showing a ton of cleavage while you pound a bunch of this beer.
