jcwattsrugger (3381), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Feb 9, 2008 on tap-pours a white head and gold color. Aroma is yeast-some banana, some spice. Taste is clean-yeast-some banana, some spice, sweet medium malt. Dry, good effervescence. General_Gao (2228), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Oct 25, 2007 Draft at Tyler’s in Durham, NC. Poured a clear golden color. Head was thin, white, and left a little lace behind. Aroma was of clove and alcohol. Slightly sweet on the tongue with subdued clove and alcohol flavors. Mouth feel was a bit thin. There was some pleasant fresh malty cereal grain at the end. NachlamSie (1258), Tennessee, USA May 13, 2008 On tap. Pours a clear, light copper with a small head. The aroma sports heavy esters with strong hints at apples and lighter spiced notes. The carbonation is medium on this and it shifts to the sticky side after a few sips. Lots of sweet fruit are here with suggestions of apples and bananas. The finish brings out a bit of wooden hoppiness. Decent. Magjayran (1058), Durham, North Carolina, USA Aug 13, 2007 Pours a golden color with very little head. Fruity aroma hints at peach, pineapple, and pear. This one is a bit bready at the start before giving way to tropical fruitiness. The carbonation is a little soft for the style and the alcohol is very well hidden. A good start for this new brewery. wilkie (1006), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Dec 27, 2007 On tap at Players Retreat near NC State in Raleigh. Pours golden, little too clear, small white head. Aroma is yeasty with banana. Flavor is sort of typical, yeasty, banana flavor, little spicy. Taste is a little thin. All of the punch is in the aroma. Reminds me of North Coast Pranqster without the floaties.
