1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 spilledpint (322) - Iowa, USA - MAY 9, 2013
12 oz. bottle from Trader Joe’s Chapel Hill
I’ll preface by saying this is almost certainly a bad can. I’ve never had this before but there’s no way this would be rated as respectably if it were this far off.
Ar: Weird. Sort of smells like rusty fishing lures after a trip to the beach.
Ap: Pours a slightly hazy light orange-amber. Fizzy white head dissipates almost immediately and doesn’t leave much lace.
T: Completely dominated by a really strange, almost rust-like flavor.
P: Light carbonation, medium body.
O: Not sure if this is a bad can or what...I suspect that’s the case because this is not at all reminiscent of a Wit. I’ve never had their beer before so hopefully that’s the case. But this was just way off.
3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Yeggo (38) - USA - APR 17, 2013
Purchased at Whole Foods Market Cary. Drank it out of a can, so Appearance rating is a bit disingenuous. Sitting on the back porch, watching my daughter play on the first day of the year that could be categorized as "hot" and it went down pretty darn well.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 DrSilverworm (2701) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 3, 2012
Shared 12oz can, thanks to Jay. Mostly hazy golden - orange color. Little off-white head. Nice zesty citrus peel nose. Decent few dots of lace. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Clean, dry finish. Lemon, zesty, citrus peel aromas, coriander, light spice. Light banana. Sweet taste. OK wit.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 radarsock (476) - Massachusetts, USA - NOV 2, 2012
Can, consumed with Drsilverworm at his flat in Cincy. It is a musty orange colored wit with an off--tooth-white ring rimming the glass. Nosed sour grass, wheat bread, white grapes and Belgian yeast. Tasted the same. I didn’t think it had very much complexity.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 durhamlou (12) - - AUG 26, 2012
has a nice aroma out of the can with little hop aroma and a sweet taste. The head doesn’t last long but the flavor is sweet and smooth. Very easy to drink .
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 maxwelldeux (2208) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - AUG 18, 2012
Pours a cloudy light golden color with almost no head. The little aroma I do get smells metallic and almost skunky. In contrast, the flavor is floral and citrusy, being light on the palate.

On tap at Summertime Brews fest 2012. Pours hazy maize. Full white head with prickly active carbonation. Nose and flavor are heavy on the coriander. Light orange notes. Some cabbage-like funk. Mouthfeel is full and slick.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 TURDFERGUSON (3562) - Carrboro, North Carolina, USA - MAY 14, 2012
Slightly opaque orange wtih a small fizzy white head. Pretty orange for a white beer. Nose is fairly dry, lightly spiced, some citrus, and light clove. Flavor is strange, carbonation is high, and it doesnt have all that much flavor. Some wheat, grass, medium bitterness.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 SphinxTX (2846) - Mata Gorda, Texas, USA - MAR 13, 2012
1 year old archive rating: pours cloudy yellow with white fizzy head. Aroma is very buttery popcorn with some citrus. Flavor is not much different. Light body with high carbonation.
