Our Farmhouse Ale “aka Biere de Garde” is homage to the highly drinkable "every day" beers from French-speaking Belgium. This beer is lightly filtered with an earthy, spicy hop flavor and a beautiful rich creamy head. This modern farmhouse ale, like those of old, serves to refresh and sustain the would be worker of his time with its ability to soothe sore muscles and coax the spirit to go back out in the field again the next day. We hope that this Farmhouse Ale does the same for you! Santé!

Tap at Southern Rail Takeover. Cloudy golden amber pour with two fingers of creamy off white head. Nose is lightly tart with round bready malt. Very light barny/goaty character. Peppery and dry.

TURDFERGUSON (4045) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - AUG 31, 2012
Tap at Broad St with B & A. Golden (like pretty much all of their "lighter" colored beers with a thin white lace. Nose shows some earth, spice, light grassy hops, sweeter caramel. Flavor shows medium bitternes, medium sweetness. Pretty well balanced but boring.

Draft from Broad Street Cafe. Darker golden with an orange hue and a moderate white head. Nose shows their signature yeast, slight sweetness, and some woody ash, which comes out on the taste a bit more. Pleasantly dry. Definitely one of their better beers, but still a bit too sweet.
