An English Brown Ale with a good chocolatey backbone. The hops are subtle but are provide a nice accent to the malty beer that is very easy drinking.

Big fan of brown ales, so this beer is right up my alley. Smooth chocolate aroma, with a slight hint of hoppiness. I get a slight coffee finish. Nice round mouth feel, classic brown ale.

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2015 Poured clear, brown with a khaki head. Nice retention. Nose had slight citrus with a chocolate tone. Some citrus and pine hop flavors going on with a nice toasted and nutty malt sweetness for balance. Low on bitterness. Finished with a clean hop character.

UPDATED: FEB 21, 2013 Tap @ the brewery. Brown with small beige head that died completely away immediately. Min carbonation. At least this brew has some flavor and hop bitterness. Probably their best offering but I don’t care for brown ale.
