A very nice American India Pale Ale that went through numerous trials to get it just right because no one wants a middle of the line India Pale Ale. This beer has a nice malt background for the hops that add a pine, citrus, and earthy flavors and aromas produced from the northwestern hops we use.

On tap. Dark orange pour with a thick white top. Nose is sweet malts and citrus. Taste follows nose with citrus in the finish.

Great IPA! Pleasant hop aroma and flavor with nice malt complexity behind the hops. Not over hopped like most IPA’s out there that are ridiculously overdone these days. +1 Tricksters.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2014 Draft at the brewery. Pours gold with a nice fluffy white head. Nice citrusy aroma. Very easy drinking, kinda like a starter IPA for those not really into IPAs.

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2012 Tap @ brewery. Clear amber color with small, soap bubbles, slightly off white head that died almost immediately. Aroma is faint. Flavor is very mild, over cooked, amber malt with very faint hop flavor, some hop bitterness, Carbonation was weak. This stuff is just right for culinarily dead Coeur d’Alene. I suspect this might have been their amber, but I’m not going back to find out. Had the IPA on the taster paddle so I tasted it that day... boring.
