Kasteel Tripel aged in Cognac casks.

Thrill to that full, rounded taste, that delicate touch of cognac and the smooth, bitter aftertaste of this unique gourmet beer. Trignac is a real collector’s item. Only a limited edition of Trignac is brewed.

Shiny golden Kasteel tripel, with a thick, firm, pillowy head that lasts, leaving light lacing. A mild beginning, with a sudden explosion of sharp, fruity taste that warms and softens to vanilla, citrus and cognac, from the barrels it was matured in. A unique taste that is well worth investigating.

Bottle shared at Beer for Geeks Tasting Room. Complex sweet aroma. Taste is surprisingly light slightly fruity sweet. Overall very drinkable. Surprisingly so for a strong ale.

Donker blond, amberkleurig bier met wit schuim. Geur: Zoetig, alcoholisch, fruitig, peer, nootachtig.

Pours bright orange amber with a beige head. Aroma brings sweet raw dough yeast and sweetness. Flavor is similar, raw yeasty dough and some congnac notes in this version for sure.

prunes and raisins aroma, gold orange appearance. Mild sweet taste. Tip of the tongue tickles due to the sparkling liquid which covers the creamy texture.

From 750ml 2013 bottle no. 09871. With champagne cork. Pours a hazy amber color with a small off white head that staid some time. Aroma of malt and yeast, with nice touch of Cognac. Flavors of sweet malts, yeast, vanilla white fruits and a wonderful length of Cognac with hints of wood. Nice strong body with carbonation. Light sweetness and bitterness, and nice long cognac finish as it warms up. Nice surprise, delicious.
