Kasteel Tripel aged in Cognac casks.

Thrill to that full, rounded taste, that delicate touch of cognac and the smooth, bitter aftertaste of this unique gourmet beer. Trignac is a real collector’s item. Only a limited edition of Trignac is brewed.

Pours bright orange amber with a beige head. Aroma brings sweet raw dough yeast and sweetness. Flavor is similar, raw yeasty dough and some congnac notes in this version for sure.

prunes and raisins aroma, gold orange appearance. Mild sweet taste. Tip of the tongue tickles due to the sparkling liquid which covers the creamy texture.

From 750ml 2013 bottle no. 09871. With champagne cork. Pours a hazy amber color with a small off white head that staid some time. Aroma of malt and yeast, with nice touch of Cognac. Flavors of sweet malts, yeast, vanilla white fruits and a wonderful length of Cognac with hints of wood. Nice strong body with carbonation. Light sweetness and bitterness, and nice long cognac finish as it warms up. Nice surprise, delicious.

Pours a golden amber with fizzy head. Aromas of fruit and hella booze. Flavors of spicy hops, yeast, and some smooth boozy notes on the finish. Not worth the $30, but very good none the less.

750ml bottle (Koht, Tallinn)
Winey aroma, champagney. Sweet fruit body, raisins. and more champagne, but a big waft of alcohol too. Not hidden at all. Finish raisiny, champagney and alcoholic. Small glass was all I needed.

Drank a 2013 bottle with Thierry @ Cafe Samson 16-10-2015. Really nice beer. Fresh, triple start but very lovely and rich vanilla and cognac taste follows. Good one.
