3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
This beer has that candle wax golden color to it. Trillium does not seem too concerned with clarity. Big rocky ivory head that left sheets of lacing on the glass. Big fresh citrus peel nose. Lots of hop flavors with orange peel and grapefruit juice all over a strong malt backbone. An initial sweetness gives way to the long, dry bitterness. Long grapefruit zest finish. Nice hop juice beer.

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Appearance: opaque pale amber with one fat finger of creamy ivory head, good retention and moderate lacing. (4/5) Aroma: resiny and slightly dank pine, juicy oranges, pineapple, stone fruit, biscuity pale malt. (10/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-high bitter. (9/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, off-dry slightly sticky and mildly warming finish. (4/5)
Big piney/citrusy/pineappley notes from the Australian Galaxy hops, hints of stone fruit and floral, and just enough biscuity pale malt to support things, with a lovely mouth feel, and just the right amount of gentle warming in the finish. Very well-balanced and just a lovely beer all-round. (18/20)

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Four pack of cans from the brewery. Pours out super cloudy and orange. Thin white head. Lots of fruity-pine notes on the aroma. Mouthfeel is fizzy and very dry and bready. Bitterness is more dry than truly bitter. Palate sucks. Astringent finish.

Tasted on 8/10/16 from a 16oz can, big thanks to Alex. Pours cloudy pale orange with a thick white head that slowly recedes to average, sticky lace. The nose is pretty soft, a nice blend of grassy floral hops, along with hints of mango and passion fruit. The flavor is floral with some honeysuckle, the same passion fruit and mango from the nose, with some lightly bitter grassy green notes, and just a bit of bread malt. The body is just under full with average carbonation, and a long lightly bitter grassy, honeyed, and floral finish.
