Bottle thanks to ClarkVV. Pours a hazy golden yellow with two finger of gaseous white foam. Dank tropical fruit on the nose with layers of citrus, wet hay, floral grass and a subtle clay earthy malt backbone. Palate follows with nice balance of juicy tropical hop notes, dank herbal edges and a soft inviting grain backbone that provides a nice counterpoint to the focused hop presence. Nice clean bitterness on the finish.

Bottle shared by kermis @ Night before crazy Danish ticking spree whilst planning to give Dean a wedgie - tasting. Hazy yellow color, medium to full sized a bit soapy white to off-white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is lightly malts, nicely hoppy and wet grass. Taste lightly malts, hops, fruit hops, orange and orangepeel in an incredibly balanced way with a great perfect bitterness to it. Really well balanced and much better in the taste than in the aroma I’d say. Medium body and carbonation. Fine IPA.

Bottle shared at night before crazy Danish ticking spree tasting. Pours cloudy dull orange with a big short lived off white head. Aroma of resinous hops, orange peel, almost leathery, weeds, pine and a light malt background. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and over moderate bitter with a light oily hop resinous palate with citrus and orange peel. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

32oz growler filled 7/30/15, drunk 8/18/15.
Large white head atop a not-as-Trillium-hazy-as-usual golden body. Good retention.
This was a lovelly one all around. Light citrus, papaya, and other plentiful tropical fruits and soft honey and vanilla-laden malts in the background, with no heavy resin/pine or any doughy/yeasty dullness. Bitterness is certainly there, but never builds up to the point of fatiguing the palate and in turn balances the supple maltiness, with no sweetness building up either. Very nicely balanced, highly flavorful, no aspirin-like flavors. A small amount of tangy/punchiness is the only detractor here, but otherwise pretty on par with Congress Street, albeit a little lighter and with less lush/juicy hoppiness. No alcohol noted, good attenuation, fine, engaging carbonation.

750ml bottle pours a hazy pale brown color with a bit of frothy head. Resiny tropical fruit hop flavor. Well balanced and easy going.

Location: 750 ml bottle from the brewery, 8/17/15, Bottled 8/4/15, Rating # 4800!

Aroma: The aroma is peachy hops, some grapefruit, melon, and some floral hops as well
Appearance: A hazy orange juice body with a frothy off-white head and fairly heavy, streaky lacing
Flavor: The taste is hoppy, less sweet/juicy than the aroma suggests, mid-bitter for the style
Palate: Medium bodied, rather clean, easy drinking for a beer of this gravity, average carbonation
Overall Impression: Working well on my way to hitting 5000 in 2015! 200 beers to go. Heading your way 5k. I liked this one quite a bit. The aroma is just top notch. Really juicy and hoppy. Fresh. On style bitterness in the flavor, which loses a bit of the juiciness from the aroma, but is still quite nice. Overall, the freshness of the hops really comes through, the bitterness level feels spot on, and it’s a 7.1% beer that drinks more like a 5% beer. Could be dangerous in cans. Out of a 750, I drink this one way too quickly. Exactly one week ago today I was drinking one of these while having lobster on Nauset Beach. Sadly, this one was not consumed under that circumstance (that’s a difficult circumstance to match!). Very impressed by the way these guys handle hops. Very much looking forward to trying more Trillium on my next trip up to Boston.

4 day old bottle from the source. Hazy apricot pour with a white head. Citrus hop bouquet. The taste follows suit with some bitter mineral lowlights. Hints of resin and pine. An average malt backbone keeps this one honest. Good body and mouthfeel.

Golden hazy color. Aroma is fruity candy, orange peel, pear, cracker malts. Taste is mild bitterness and medium candy sweetness. Tasty stuff.

Bottle from Redstone. Hazy deep straw color with a decent sized long lasting bubbly white head. Big aromas of grapefruit and apricot mixed with a big of pine and resin with just a touch of faint crackery malt. The flavor is mostly citrus with hints of sweet bread. The flavor is not what I expected from the nose. Medium to light body with a moderate level of carbonation. This smells fantastic and its a solid drinkable beer.

Pours with the typical in vogue glowing orange applesauce color. Decent head. Aroma is passion fruit pine and a little candy. The taste is a little tame. Doesn't seem to match the aroma. A little pineapple no malt. Good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
