Gently hoppy English bitter aroma. Paleish, but a lovely persistent spongy white head. Super English refreshing bitter taste. Hops pleasantly dry and a little earthy, some white pepper. Grains gently light bready. Very nice attenuation, crisp and dry and refreshing. lovely English hops in the finish. Pretty much perfect as a sessionable bitter.

Cask conditioned handpump Wig & Pen Northampton 08/05/12. A golden beer with a whitish head and lacing. Very hoppy as promised but there is a sweetness too. Hops are British goldings-like. Some fizzy orange in the nose. Reasonable balance in the mouth. A bit of a chewy consistency. Good but promised more.

On cask at Odiham and Greywell Cricket Club. Poured a deep amber colour, fairly hoppy aroma with light citrus overtones. Not quite the ’hoppy pale ale’ I was expecting, but nevertheless a fairly palatable medium bodied bitter.
