StueyD (590), King’s Lynn, Norfolk, Norfolk, England Oct 7, 2006 A dark, coper brown beer with a reddish tint, topped by a thickish off white head. The nose is light, only a tiny hint of malt, coffee and caramel. The taste is smooth, if a little watery on the mouth, burnt sugar, coffee and a sweetish cereal-like flavour comes through, the finish is quite weak. (Cask - The Fox & Hounds, Heachan, Norfolk). GarethYoung (1108), Glasgow, Scotland Oct 2, 2006 [Cask at The Three Judges] Dark amber, moderate head. Caramel, toffee apples, floral notes, faint burnt aroma. Medium body, dry hoppy finish.
