Aug 10, 2008 Cask at the Cross Keys. Aroma is sweet pale malts and grassy cirus lemon character. Taste is going down the same sweet line which makes me think it was probably the end of the barrel.

Gold, tiny head. Black tea, slightly sweet, aroma. Well balanced grain and hop combo, some caramel. Good summer quaffer. Gentle finish mirrors the taste - more black tea and pretty malty. You had it a day late, Ian!

Jul 10, 2008 Cask handpull at Market Porter, Borough. Gold, thin beige head. Some grassy hop, bit of citrus, some toffee/butter too. Bit of diacetyl maybe. Hops on end are good, but the rest is only so-so.
