TASTING NOTES First Gold is a very popular English hop which yields an extremely moreish spicy and orangy hop aroma. This pale brown bitter is brewed using some golden naked oats which add fullness to the palate.

Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Brown with slight head. Quite a sweet beer, thin, some hop character, twiggy a hint of woodiness. Lack of finish.
