2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Gravicask, half pint at Bree Louise. Amber-gold coloured body, near-clear. Headless. Resinous hops to the nose. Malt-fruity taste with caramel and resin followed by a dry bitter ending. On par with a decent kind of Brit bitter (London, 25.11.2012).

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask conditioned handpump Malt Shovel Northampton 30/11/12. Funny this. When Tring announced their monthly single hop specials for this year this beer was supposed to be brewed with Endeavour. It turned out to be with Pioneer so perhaps there’s an Endeavour shortage. Anyway, it;’s golden with an off-white head and lace. There is a fairly sharp and astringent bitterness. Notes of peach in there too. Quite flavoursome but it’s way too bitter for me. Unsatisfying.

Clear golden with a thin white head.

Medium bodied with a bitter dry finish.
