RSRIZZO (987), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA May 20, 2008 Aroma is a faint sour roasted scent with a little caramel. Color is a deep dark amber with good carbonation and a thin off white head. Taste is sweet and sour. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a bright sweet feel. Finish comes with a honey sweet taste that has a mild roasted tone to it then a sour yeasty some what bread like taste comes in. After taste is the sour getting stronger before giving way to a mellow bitterness. Its a very interesting brew and is by far there best. BeerandBlues2 (2451), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Feb 4, 2008 8th Big Beers, Belgians, and Barleywines. Pours clear light brown with a small, fizzy, light brown head, lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, caramel, chocolate, nutty), light hops (herbs), average yeast (dough) with notes of smoke and cola. Light bodied, thin texture, average carbonation, and a chalky finish. Short duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.
