Crushed with Jakebra. Good all around. Roast and some awesomeness. It’s above average but not incredible. Just tasty.

Growler via a trade with beerandblues2. Pours with a small tan head over a dark brown body. Aroma of espresso, chocolate, dark fruits, coffee beans, and vanilla. Taste is somewhat watery with note of espresso, light chocolate and vanilla bean. Water like mouthfeel and light carbonation.

On tap at Trinity poured a clear dark brown with a lingering ring of tan foam. Aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malt and a hint of smoke. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malt and a hint of smopke with a smooth malty finish.

On tap at the awesome brewpub. Frothy head. The head lasts forever. Black color. Low bitterness. Malty. Very low roastiness. Leans dry. Easy to drink. Was OK by itself, but awesome with a cheese platter.

RSRIZZO (1853) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - NOV 30, 2008
Had this brew at the All Colorado Beer Festival on 11/08/08. Aroma is a dry smoky scent with nice roasted notes. Color is a solid black with a thin but tight head. Taste comes on a smooth creamy body that goes down with a crisp feel, then a flavor that is like the aroma, it has dark roasted coffee like flavors and a dry after taste. Very well balanced, just an excellent stout.

BeerandBlues2 (9685) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - OCT 22, 2008
Draught at Trinity Brewing. Pours black with an average, frothy, light brown head, mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (coffee, chocolate, roasted), light hops (herbs), average yeast (horse blanket, leather) with notes of tar. Full bodied, creamy texture, average carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.
