375mL bottle thanks to rdixon77, late summer 2014. Murky amber brown pour with a small tan head, mild lacing. Very sour aroma, mildly acetic, but not the huge pop others are getting, leathery, malty. Suuuuuuper sour flavor, very mild acetic, wood, leather, dank, malty. Tasty.

Draft falling rock denver. Nice sour brown, funky. Sour taste is slightly young and tart, maybe needs to age some.

Bottle at home. Pours murky plum brown. Nose is dark fruits and vinegar, tastes of balsamic, raisins, honey, mustard seed, cherry, lacto, and light tobacco. Fairly tart and viscous.

Bottle... Pours cloudy and brown with a small, fluffy, lightly-tanned head. Decent retention. The aroma is an earthy, chemical and fruity collection of mustiness, wet leather, acetone and black cherries. Full-bodied with prickly carbonation. The flavor is quite sour. Itís acidic, but mostly acetic, with a mild note of acetone (or what I believe acetone would taste like if I were stupid enough to drink it) and a light sour-cherry component. Finishes like a cherry SweeTart with a bit of a tongue-numbing trait - similar to a local anesthetic. Despite its many flaws, this is interesting and somewhat enjoyable. Thanks to my friend, Alden Bing, at Orchid Island Brewery for gifting me this bottle!

"Brown pour, wild aroma with lacto and brett, some darker malts and some raisins. Canít really taste the mustard seed per se, but i bet youíd be able to tell if it wasnít there. This is a nice sour porter type brew, with a little added sweetness and complexity. Nicely done."

At RBWG Asheville. Murky brown color. Aroma of tart, almost fetid dark fruit. Taste is very acetic. Unpleasant.

Thin but appropriate head. Nice lacing. Deep dark color with red tint. Strong sourness with slight acetic note, yet still very enjoyable. Sourness dominates at first, but gives way to rich fruity malt flavor. Fruit character dominates malt. Notes of raisin. Honey and mustard seed very faint.
