bottle bought in denver, purple wax, opened after manchester united dismantled spurs, 3-0- that rooney boxing celebration was golden .. . pours a light yellow .. gushed out a light airy foam .. . pretty aggressive liquid .. . cucumber, light spice, champagne, and more cucumber .. . quite nice, a well made novelty .. . . I told my readers to harness the cleaning power of ammonia with the whitening power of bleach.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured from a 12. Appearance is very light and cloudy. Aroma is definitely fresh cucumber, like how your kitchen would smell if you were getting ready to make pickles. Flavor is cucumber (obviously), creamy, pickled garlic and sweet. Yeah, I know that sounds gross, but it is surprisingly light and refreshing.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
375, capped and waxed. Pours a murky pale gold with a fizzy, sizzling, surging platinum-blond head. Lots of spotty lace for a minute. Big celery salt nose, not too much like a fresh cucumber, but that nose is there too for sure. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Lots of celery salt on the mid palate. Some fresh cucumber too. Crisp light finish.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
375ml bottle from Supermarket Liquor
Sounded like a shotgun blast when I removed the cap, itís a gusher. What was left is hazy yellow with a huge white head, lots of lacing. Aroma is cheesy, barnyard and cucumber. Flavors of cucumber, yeast, barnyard, grainy and lemon
Not particularly bad, but not good either. Definitely NOT worth $7.99. Whatís the deal with the wax on these bottles!

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
375 ml capped and waxed bottle. Opens a minor gusher, with enormous frothy, rapidly collapsing white head, with slight lacing over a hazy yellow (SRM 3) body.....nose is green vegetable, with pickled cucumber notes, hits of spice.....taste is green vegetables, pickles, hints of cereal malts, light herbal notes.....mouth feel light of medium body, no alcohol, foamy carbonation. This is quite a failed experiment. The green and pickle are utterly dominant and not at all pleasant. The appearance is even worse what with the gusher and all. Perhaps cucumber beers donít age well because they become pickle beers. BJCP 5/1/12/3/5

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
GABF 2014. Cucumber aroma is prominent. More cucumber in the flavor. Tons of carbonation, some light spice. A very mellow, easy to drink beer that i think would go well with a hot summer afternoon.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
GABF 2014 Rating (Denver, CO). Pours a hazy straw hue, gentle pale glow with gentle haze, frothy whitish head is a bit bubbly and cakey. Mellow lacing. Aromas show some cucumber, cool and earthy, gentle bready malts, straw and earth. Initial is really cucumber, dill and earth. Cool, earthy, a touch bitter and green. A mellow leafy feel. Touches of earth, bread and straw. Middle is a bit sweet, earthy, dill. Weird beer. Backend and finish is a bit bitter, earthy, lingering veggie and dill feel. Meh.
