Brewed with brown sugar, garam masala, torch roasted Vennetucci Farm sugar pumpkin, white sage, coriander, and grains of paradise. This version of our seasonally rotating Saison tastes like liquid pumpkin pie …. If you were in Belgium that is! 10.5% ABV.

Draft pour schooner at the beer junction. Pours a ruby brown color with a thin film head. Sweet pumpkin pie like aroma. Flavor is a ton of spice up front, mixed with a candy sweet malt. Finishes on a huge pumpkin pie note. Interesting saison? Hard to really be sure on style, the pumpkin kinda buries this. At least the flavor is good. Good pumpkin overall.

Half liter red-waxed bottle from Whole Foods PM. Pours dark caramel toward brown colored with minimal head. Nose is pumpkin, lactic tartness. Tastes of pumpkin, spice, tart, with a finish that warms to lose some tartness and gain spiciness, Solid.

One of the better pumpkin beers I’ve ever had. Adds some additional spice, some earthiness and some pepper to what you’d usually expect from a pumpkin beer. Picked this up in Fort Collins in 2013.

On tap last November at Stapleton Tap House. Listed as 9.5% Pours copper brown. Aroma of burnt malts, spices and nutmeg. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of brown sugar, burnt malts, minerals, pumpkin, tobacco, cardamon, cinnamon, pepper. Overall big and bold with a wide array of spices. Re-rate mid November at Stapleton Tap House. big aroma of herbs, coriander, sage, pumpkin. flavors of sweet malts, coriander, sage, minerals, melon. Overall big and flavorful with significant spices. I think slight aging has helped and I’m upping my rating.

Strong pumpkin pie spices with plenty of acidic sourness. Pear and cherry Pours murky brownish amber color with long lasting fluffy white head. Malty bready flavor with sour pear like with sage and other spices. Medium bodied medium high CO2 sage spice finish. Enjoyable brew. Complex flavors blend well together.
