On tap at brewery, poured a dark brown hue w/ small white head diminishing to a ring. Moderate dark fruit aromas. Initial flavor is light sweet w/ a moderate sour finish. Tastes are grapefruit, prune, lemon, red wine, and pink peppercorn. Medium bodied. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2014 Bottle claims it as a saison. It has is a root beer malt liquor character and is difficult to drink beyond a point, particularly with high alcohol and high carbonation. Thanks Jason b. Finished next day-then the barnyard appears in fullness!

Sampled at ESBLS at my house. Thanks Jason R. Darker brown with an off white ring. A sweet fruity and yeasty aroma. This tastes a little like candy. Dark and interesting fruit flavors with a lot of malts. Alcohol is not tasted at all which is impressive. This is not like anything I have tasted. Unique and tasty. Good stuff.

On tap at Barrels & Bottles. Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma and flavor of Belgian yeast, fruity esters, dark fruit, sugar, light spice, herbs, pepper, grass and floral notes. Full body with soft carbonation. A smooth and complex sipper.

Unnumbered bottle thanks to Alemax. Pours a ruby brown with small, off-white head. Almost no lacing. Aroma is sweet and fruity, plum, spice, mildly herbal, belgian yeast and slight alcohol. Flavor is again very sweet, strong fruit, plum, peach, with a caramelized malt, mildly spicy and herbal finish. Really opens up as it warms, strong spice and herbal. Alcohol is well masked. Moderate carbonation, medium body, and mildly dry finish. Interesting, sweet, fruity and herbal. Pleasantly surprised.

Bottled. Dark orange brown pour with a yam head. Roasted aroma, quite malty a little fruity with some yeast too. The taste is pretty full bodied, caramelized malt and little taste of alcohol. Light notes of cumin, and pretty fruity. Finished quite wet. Overall a great saison.

on tap at brewery as part of a sampler set; they say they change this each month so I doubt this is in the right spot; had on 7/1 at brewery. I liked it but it was the least like saison for a saison that I have ever drank. honey amber pour; slight medicinal and back end and strongest saision ever
