Tap at Trinity. Pours clear gold, white head, stringy lacing. Aroma is mild citrus, floral hops with a strong malt background. Flavor is strong citrus up front with a nutty, biscuit/cracker, malty finish. Mild but somewhat balanced. Soft carbonation, medium body, and juicy texture. A mild, malty IPA.

On nitro at brewpub. Aroma is fairly hop forward with a blend of English and american hops. Light caramel character. Fairly dank and earthy with wood notes but also a lot of citrus and light tropical fruit. Pours a cloudy orange with a moderately thick white head with good retention and lacing. Flavor is slightly sweet and malty with caramel notes and some cracker and light honey but the hops help dry out the finish. High bitterness with moderately high hop flavor. Hops are fairly citrus and tropical fruit forward but with a balanced pine resin and woodsy character in the background. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium low carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall a fairly enjoyable IPA that plays the line between West Coast IPA and English IPA. A little malty for my preferences, but I like the hop profile. I am tired of IPAs that are all tropical fruit without any dank or woodsy notes and this one does a good job of combining them.

Tap. Pours clear amber/copper with average, fizzy white head; decent retention and lacing. Aroma is toasted and biscuit malt, orange peel, citrus and pine hops, and light honey. Flavor is balanced sweet malt and pine hops (light bitterness) with supporting light fruit esters and straw; dry, lightly hoppy finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

Cask at brewpub-May 2012-pours bright hazy orange with a lovely soapy white head. nose is pine, lite tropic fruits very clean. lite green onion yet not distracting. It was poured a bit too cold for a cask. decent lacing for sure! Flavors are mild bright fruits, sweet lite carmel malts yet this beer has very little malt profile other than lite sugar cookie. long sweet floral tropical hops on the finish little bitterness, probably from the cask-conditioning. very pleasant beer yet nothing all that fancy.
