4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Sampled on 10/10/2012 at the Trinity Brewpub. This wild/sour ale pours a very hazy light orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, pineapple and tart. A medium to full bodied wild ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, with some pineapple sweetness and tartness. The hops are earthy. Lively carbonation. Slightly tart and a touch funky. Nice balance between the fruity and tart. Very refreshing beer. Very different. Extremely drinkable. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, smooth and dry. Aftertaste is slightly tart.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours lemon cloudy with a big foamy white head. Aroma brings a bit of off funk and some tart fruit, suggesting pineapple. The flavor is light tart citrus funk that dries out the tongue withsome tangy notes.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at the brewpub. Gorgeous yellow pour, cloudy as a Fantone, with a thin white ring cap. Pineapple overload in the nose, a touch of winter squash and sage. Very light carbonation, with some muddy yeast getting in the way, dulling the flavor. Perhaps a little filtering was in order here for something that should be bright and effervescent. Pineapple flavor continues with some cucumber, cardamom. Pretty nice.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pour on tap at Art and Ale Festival 2012, described as a "pineapple sour." Pour was murky and hazy light yellow with a thin white head, aroma brought notes of lactic and funky notes, some slight lemon, fruity tropical fruit with a hint of the pineapple, mango, and some passionfruit in there, slight earthy and basement notes, much funkier than I expected. Taste is a nice mix of pineapple, mango, and passionfruit going into some lemon, slightly lactic sour but more dirty and funky basement, dust, earthy tones with a slight biscuit and bready sweetness, finishing fairly funky, dry, slightly tart. Interesting and tasty!
