2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at brewpub. Light amber with small off-white head. Aroma is mostly malty and a little non-specific fruitiness. Medium body. No alcohol presence. Starts malty and a bit sweet, then some dry hops. Somehow musty in a way. Ok sort of.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
On cask at Real Ales for Hope - Providence, RI. Aroma is terse malt and light grassiness. There’s some strong maltiness up front, but it develops this odd old bitterness to to it and then quickly, the house Trinity flavor, which I’ll assume is from the yeast. Their beers, like this one, always come with a lot of bitterness from hops, but little flavor, leaving a slightly stinging oddly malt red ale behind. Can’t get excited about this.
