A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, superb mix of ground cherries and Epsom salts, light horse blanket, lactic acid, very nice. In mouth, a nice tart sweet fruity malt with light lactic notes, Epsom salts, light Gueuze like touches, light buttery notes, grapeskin, pleasant and refreshing. Bottle from Bottle Cap Beverage Center, Watertown, NY.

Lots of barnyard on the nose as well as the flavor. Sour finish. Can’t decide if I love it or hate it. Very different.

Bottle from Whole Foods in Portland. A bit hazy golden with a white head. Fresh with citrus, funk, some oak and hints of malt. A refreshing one.

@ Mark Spencer 16-3-8: Fantastisk syrlig doft och smak med rejäl fräschör och fina toner av citrus och vindruvor.

375 bottle. Waxed cap. Slight gusher upon opening. Cloudy gold color with a small white head that quickly vanishes. The aroma is mildly funky with some barnyard, hay, lemon and sour grapes. The taste is nice and complex with a big in-your-face sour front, this is not one of those subtle sours. I get sour grapes, lemons, a bit of peppery spice an hay all set nicely in a bready malt base. The palate is medium and appropriate for the style. Finishes long with lingering sour notes. Overall: Decent

375 ml bottle from Cappy’s. Gusher upon opening. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized off off white head that disappeared quickly. The aroma and flavor have tart/sour citrus, hay, some acidity, the lacto shows more than the Brett, mild funk, very drinkable sour.

Light golden body, strong head smelling of barnyard. Light in body but strong in taste. Get a bit of orange perhaps with a lasting barnyard taste. Sharp, dry finish. Overall decent sour.
