3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle sample at the Trinity tasting at Blacklick Wine & Spirits on 4/9/15. Clear yellow pour with a thick white head. Aroma of funk, pepper, almost sesame and sour lemon. Malty flavor with tart lemon accents before a funky and sour finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Toronado Seattle.
Pours a somewhat hazy light yellow into a large snifter. Lacto-vomit super-funky aroma, as if someone left a wheel of Camembert sitting in the sun for three days and then Rob Ford wiped his sweaty ass crack with it. Yeah, pretty hard core. But beneath that is quite a pleasant sour. Tart and vinegary, initially bracing but easy to acclimate to, relatively simple and in the end relatively enjoyable.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12.7 ounce (375 ml) wax capped bottle. Served in a chalice, the beer pours a hazy gold color with about an inch white head. Head retention was good, and there’s a decent amount of lacing. The aroma is nice, it smells like green apples, tart citrus, funk, and vinegar. It tastes like tart citrus (mostly lemon), funk, green apples, wheat/grainy malt, vinegar, apricots and some mineral/earthiness. It’s tart and refreshing! Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a little bit slick with moderate carbonation. I thought this was a good brew, it’s nice and tart for sure! Nice to see the Trinity brews in Ohio, and I can’t wait to try the other Trinity ones I’ve bought! $6.49 a bottle.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: MAR 28, 2015 64oz growler from Growl in Clintonville for $22. Murky yellow pour with no head. Aroma of funky brett, citrus, maybe a little wheat. Tastes are acidic, lemony citrus, funk, grain, vinegar, little oak, little cheese, more lemon. Solid pucker sour. Too expensive in the bottles, but reasonable on tap.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Warning, my bottle was a gusher. Pours a faint yellow with a small bubbly head that disappears fast. Aroma is light and funky, slight acid. Flavors is very clean and tart with lots of lemon, with a medium dry finish. Very nice sour, not sure why this has a lower score.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
375, capped and waxed. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a loose white head. Fairly forward lemon and white vinegar nose, some carbonic bite. Light, creamy, fizzy body. Lemons, vinegar, and not much else on the mid palate. Mild enough to be refreshing and fairly easy drinking, but lacks complexity.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20

2.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Nose dominated by enteric acid (baby diaper) yuck. Taste was much better but enteric still there. Lets hope the barrel aged version is better. Woody

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at The Beer Mongers, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out zesty citrus, stone fruits, and light tartness. Flavour is unusual, bringing out hempy earthy notes, citrus zest, and medium tartness. A bit jumbled but nothing overly wrong with this, just not very complex.
