Sampled at FoBAB 09. Murky golden pour. Fruity, citrusy, sour aroma with some funk. Flavor is nice and sour, some wood and wet wool, barnyard. Very nice Sour ale from a brewery from which I’d never had anything before.

Beautiful citrus lemon lime almost resembles 7up. A boquet of flowers stuffed into a oak wine barrel aroma. The complexity in this ale is fun, changing as the temperature rises with honey and wine notes ending with no carbonation and a perfectly light acidity, yum!

Tap. Pours cloudy yellow gold, small white head, good lacing. Aroma is Brett, funk, lemon, fruity. Flavor is the same, light sweet, no bitter, medium funk, a but of plastic on the finish. Medium body, a bit bland.

From bottle, courtesy of HornyDevil, at Dog Days Tasting. Ginger, orange Tic-Tacs and Tang. Fruity, tart with some Brett. Pale golden with light haze and thin head. Medium body and carbonation. Starts tart and fruity with tangerine and orange, Brett and chalky yeast. Reminds me of a traditional lambic. Smooth tart after with light chalkiness.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle (750 ml). Shared by Mathieu, thanks! Unclear yellow with a low white head and no lacing. Aroma is mostly of white wine along with roses, oak, lime, lemon, citrus, light tartness... not overpowering, but quite complex. Taste is slightly sweet and really fresh with white wine, roses, citrus, light oak, mild sourness and light apricots/peaches. Light to medium body. Winey mouthfeel. Dry. Light to moderate carbonation. This is a really unique beer! Superb winey Sour Ale with a lot of similarities with a Berliner Weiss. Extremely complex, but not overpowering. Great balance. Really fresh. Light, but in a good way. The barrel treatment isn’t subtle, but it’s add so much complexity. Great beer!

750 shared by craftbeerdesign. This was one of the crazier beers I’ve had. Basically a sour saison/berliner hybrid thingy. Low abv. Just crazy. Golden orange pore. The aroma is barnyard, earthy, floral and some tart citrus. Taste is a bit spicy, funky, tart, soft, citrus. Very approachable. I dug it and I drank my fair share of this at about 1 am.
