Fourgrains beer, brewed to an original Wilderen recipe. Mild and spicy triple, with a mild finish thanks to the use of fine and noble hops. Ingredients: barley, wheat, oats, rye, hops, spices, candisugar, yeast and water.

From bottle in a Leffe glass. It tastes like a tripel with a sour-yeast: a strong full bodied blond beer with a special acidity (pleasant, not too much) and a vanilla flavour. Compared to Wilderen Goud: I think it tastes better: more balanced, less sweet, slightly less sour, more body: as if they let the same yeast do it’s job a lot longer on the same brew.

Cool sweet and fruity triple with hints of spice from the yeast and rye. I enjoyed this more than the average score indicates.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear, sparkling orange-blonde colour. Nice, perfumed aroma. Taste is sweet to start, then gently bitter. Rich mouthfeel, but not gloopy. Taste of creamy vanilla and oranges. Overall, very pleasant indeed.

Aroma pleasant, banana, citrus, full flavored. Appearance true to type. Taste was a bit acidic to me and needed a more rounded profile for me. Palate was okay, nothing exceptional. Overall, would suggest trying something else.

4-granenbier, tripel. Blijkt een smaakvol bier te zijn. Vooral de smaak van gist valt op, met wat citrus en een zoetje. Ook in de geur komt de gist naar boven. In de nasmaak is hij vooral grassig en wat zoet-bitter. Lekker!

Bottle 33cl. Golden with a white head. Fresh aroma of citrus and typical pilsner. Rich beer. Very nice first impression, not as sweet as I would have expected from a trippel style. Nice balance between malt and hops. And then hints of some spice. Medium length. Dangerous good, as you have absolute no idea that you are enjoying an 8,2% alc/vol

Bottle 33cl. Golden colour with a medium white top that fades away. Aroma is sweet and has hints of malts. Taste is not bad, what you expect of a tripel. Bitterness with sweet hints. The Co2 is most apparent. Nothing special.

Bottle from Dranken Verheyen in Poppel. The beer is deep golden colored and pours a large white head, with very livingly Co2. The aroma has a nice sweetness of tropical fruits and apples. Also a hint of vanilla is noticable and the spiciness of coriander. The taste is light sweet with tones of caramel, with a well balanced bitterness in which tones are noticable of spices. Also citrus, oranges and nuts are well hidden between the sweetness and bitterness. The finish is surprisingly dry with tones of citrus.
