UPDATED: NOV 23, 2013 Mooi goudkleurig, licht troebel bier. Weinig sterk, maar fruitig en kruidig aroma, bijzonder frisse smaak en fijn palet. Heerlijk zomers biertje.

Beautiful golden colour, slightly opaque, nice bubbles, weak white head. Smell is bread, white pepper, peaches and cherries, with a touch of leather. Hint of caramel and toffee. Taste has a delicious bitter sweet balance, nice and fizzy, full-bodied and slightly oily. Finish is dry salty.

Bottle 33cl. Clear to hazy mediumdeep golden color, lot of bubbles, good rocky and stablewhite head, recedes only slowly, good lacing; aroma moderate malty, fruity with banana, tangerine, apricot, grain, yeast, dough, hint of spices, citrus; taste moderate fruity sweetness and mild light bitter, fruity and spicy notes, hint of alcohol; full body, creamy texture, average carbonation, peppery on the tongue; mild hoppy bitterness and light fruitysweetness in the finish, spicy and herbal notes. At first like another middle of the road tripel but develops after a while to a nice mild and pleasant tripel.

gEUS (1242) - Linden, BELGIUM - NOV 5, 2014
330 ml bottle at home. Pours little bit cloudy, golden yellow. fine white head, consistent. Imminent cardamom and cloves, some curacao. Light body, creamy mouthfeel but a bit too spicy. Taste is totally aligned with aroma, but overwhelmingly spicy. Same characteristics as a lot of those Belgian commercial so called triples (Gouden Carolus, Leffe, Triple Karmeliet).

A normal tripel, one that exemplifies what a tripel should be. High on the spices/cloves, which is nice. Beautifully made. Bottle from De Zwart in Wilnis.

A very pleasantly surprising aroma here, I notice the typical hoparoma, several herbs (probably coriander, etc.) and also a bit of lime. I can taste a very nice developed beer with a great bouquet of flavours, which makes this beer incredible to me!

Moebbels (348) - FINLAND - OCT 5, 2014
Pours a hazy yellow body with a flufft white head, that settles down to speckles on the surface of the beer. The nose has an interesting mild barnyard aroma along with some yeast, wheat, hay and spices. The taste is spicy and sweet with a long bitter finish. Carbonation is very high and prickly, the palate is just above medium. A perfectly good beer but the spiciness throws it a little out of balance.

Bottle, Bistro Het Vinne. Golden, white head. Malts and mainly fruits throughout. Sweet, leaving mildly malty after-taste. Average.

At home from the bottle. A very mild golden colored triple. Stable with head. Aroma is fruity and malty. Taste of herbs. Nice to drink.
