What a beer! Smell of malt, belgium yeast, vanilla, caramel and spices. Obvious coriander and orange peel there also. Pours a beautiful clear golden colour with a white lasting head. I’ve never had a beer this strong before that hides the alcohol so well, i can hardly taste any. Sweetness, barley and yeast followed by slight hops, probably saaz. The coriander and orange notes coming through as well. And soooo smooth! Phenomenal beer!

33 cl. bottle. Slightly hazy light golden colour with a big, white head. Fruity aroma, mangoes and light citrus, with lots of Belgian yeasts. Complex taste: Sweet from exotic fruits, like apricot and spices like vanilla, but also a apple-like sourness. The flavor makes this beer highly drinkable, with no alcohol traceable. Lively carbonated, with a oily texture, almost butter-like. Full body with a finish that goes on forever. One of the best triples I´ve ever tasted!

Draft pint, foggy yellow color. Very light and subtle citrus. Refreshing and no sign of a high abv. It’s a calm tripel that is enjoyable and not going to blow away your tastebuds with hops.

Belgian Brasserie Henri, Budapest.

Super tripel smell when opened, one of the best, but it lost its mojo as the longer it was in the glass. Pretty yellow too with a constant glossy thinnish white foamy head. Nice taste, sweeter and probably cleaner than Westmalle Tripel but in compatison its far simpler with little real individuality in comparison. Needs more complexity and development but still a nice intro in the world of the Tripel.

Thanks so much to Bridget who replaced a bottle brought to me by David, which I so sadly watched explode when I dropped it in my kitchen. Pours with huge off white head over lemon-yellow hazed body. Very pretty, sharp peppery lemon-citrus wafting off this. Lemongrass, honey, pepper. Sharp, spritely body with rich sweet alcohol, coating body. Quite sweet, lemon candy, maybe toffee. Head rush, very tasty and precise. Yum
