4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured a medium, hazy golden/yellow with an averaged sized head. Aromas of citiris (oranges and limes), flowers and spices. Sweetish taste with flowers, spices and citris. Nice smelling and tasting. I took a chance and bought a case of this before tasting and glad I did (damn PA case laws).

Apologies but this just didn’t do it for me. Pale yellow with fizzy white head. Fruit and spice in the nose. Spumante feel in the mouth. Flavor was relatively sweet and spicy.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2007 Initial rating of 3.4 sampled from bottle. Sampled again on tap at Lunar Brewing company for the Feb 2007 Ratebeer Chicago Area gathering. Very good. Increased rating to 3.9
Clear golden (poured with out sediment to glass but there was some left in the botle) with a big white head that is quickly discipating. the nose is full of yeast with just a dab of malts to it. The taste is yeasty with a bit of apple skin to it. Not bad but I just cant get into the style.

Bottle shot its cork out when loosening the cage.   Pours translucent golden, HUGE fluffy white head, copious amounts of carbonation, with super sticky lacing.   Wonderful aroma of spices, corriander, oranges, lemon zest... quite citrusy.   Forwardly wheat like, light citrus flavor, with a spritzy mouthfeel.   Other spices seem to be present, but subtle compared to the citrus.   Finishes light, with the aformentioned spices and a bit of a malty aftertaste.   Tasty!

Wow... what can I say? Wonderful spicy aroma with a hint of allspice, sweet, honeyed flavor with a noted alcohol bite, beautiful golden color, nice mouthfeel. Should also note almonds and walnuts, apricot overtones and citrus. Complicated and great.
