A gigantic thanks to beerhandy for this one. My last 6 on the way to 1,500 will be stellar beers, starting with this one. Pours hazy lazy gold with a big, creamy white head and more lace than a 500 pound bride. Aroma of big light fruit, candi sugar, barnyard, perfumy citrus. Awesome aroma! Tastes citrusy, candi sugary, with perfumy floral esters and more fruit as it warms. Super smooth, citrusy, fruity, highly carbonated finish. Just a wonderful beer. As it warms, it acquires a champagny quality. Perhaps the BEST Belgian beer (definitely one of the best) I have ever had, and that includes the big boys. I’ll let you bang my sister for another one of these.

BCA. Tropical fruit spice and yeast aromas. Delicat yet firm body, refreshing with a dry spicy finsih. Effervescence complements rather than competes with the beer.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Cloudy golden-orange coloured beer. Large head, that remains exceptionally well! Very tempting aroma of citrusfruits, fresh, juicy. A bit sweet in its taste, lightly fruity and spicy. A bit overcarbonated for me, but this is certainly a worldclass tripel.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tap. Orange straw color, with thin to no head. Astringent florals and subtle peppery anise spices stood out from the usual Belgian sweetness to say hello.
