3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Aldolapache (31) - Roma, ITALY - MAR 15, 2011

The aroma is sweet of candy and a hint of caramel. The appearance is a clear yet oily gold with a thin whit head. The taste is sweet and of bubblegum. Overall very nice.

Incredible beer. Beautiful hop and floral presence. Head dissipated quickly. Alcohol presence beautifully muted for a tripel.

On tap in Paris. Very tasty! much better than out of the bottle. I bought some bottles at Monoprix. One tasted like Fruity Pebbles, and the rest were less interesting. But on tap, it’s certainly a winner.

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2011 Yes! This is one of my usual favourites. You really should drink this on room temperature or a bit colder. Only than this beer is really nice. When it’s to cold it appears as a normal lager!
citrus, golden, clear, white foam, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, full body, creamy, soft carbonation, little bit bitter finish.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 phredrik (707) - Aalborg, DENMARK - MAR 4, 2011
Pours clear golden with a large frothy white head. Aroma is nice and fresh with a grassy and spicy hoppiness, honey, hay, perhaps hints of blueberries and fresh fig. Slightly alcoholic as well. Taste is malty grainy with a good yeast component. Honey and flowery, maybe a hint of cantaloupe, bread crust, hints of caramel. And some inexplicable taste component which reminds me a lot of the hay harvest image on the label - spot on with the taste. Lively carbonation and a decent medium body. Very good, one of the best tripels I’ve had.

Outstanding tripel beer from the folks at Bosteels. Anyone offering you one is a friend... always.
