Hazy golden yellow in the glass with a creamy white head. Fantastic aroma of citrus, flowers, cereal grain, and tiny hint of yeasty spice. Fine carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel, medium body. Citrus and grain (wheat?) notes extend into the generous finish. Superb.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 chooch74 (34) - Alberta, CANADA - FEB 10, 2011
grass, citrus, orange aroma; golden, cloudy, frothy appearance; light sweetness, medium bitterness, medium body, lively carbination, slight bitter finish, overall a well made lighter looking beer that drinks abit heavier than it looks. slight bitterness is the predominant flavor that knocks the balance off slightly. enjoyable but not a revelation.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 crossovert (2547) - Wisconsin, USA - FEB 9, 2011
I don’t think I gave this a fair shake the first time I tried it, I will have to revisit. IT pours a deep gold with a big white head. IT is light and subtle with the Belgian yeast and malt bill filling out the taste and smell.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Brandman (969) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 8, 2011
Hazy yellow hay coloured body, white head. Leaves lots of laces. Aroma has banan, wheat bread, yeast and some clove. Flavour has nice smooth belgian yeast, little alcohol, fruits and soft malts. Mouthfeel is smooth and floury as supposed to be.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 ExpendableHero (518) - Florida, USA - FEB 7, 2011
Lemonade looking beer with a frothy, white head. Aromas of fresh citrus, wheat, and something peppery. The taste follows the nose, tastes like an alcoholic lemonade. An imperial belgian wheat beer. Very citric, and with a dry/peppery finish. Not bad, but this seemed a bit artificial. Light bodied, and very drinkable.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 kappldav123 (3124) - Markkleeberg, GERMANY - FEB 2, 2011
The bottle looks simple, but good. The beer in the glass very zippy, nice head. Starts strong, a bit soapy-sourish, also fruity like lemon. Finish a bit moldy, but well balanced, fruity like apricot. Nice!
