Bottle. Dark golden with a big fluffy white head. Looks fantastic in its own glass. Aroma is malty sweet, fruity, a little yeast. Flavour is malty, sweet and fruity, alcohol warmth. Slight sour finish, lots of carbonation. Very soft mouthfeel. Excellent tripel. Not nearly as good from tap though, which is way too sweet.

Pours out a brilliant golden orange. Sweet aroma, almost like candy and ripe fruits, apricots maybe. Very sweet flavor topped off by lemony zing. Very balanced and enjoyable, very drinkable due to being very thin in the mouth. Very good Tripel, definitely tasty.

Aroma is full of yeast and sweet malts, and some dark fruits. It’s appearance is golden color, with a light head. It’s flavor is full of medium-dark malts, some sweetness, and sweet fruit. It’s a bit to sweet, but otherwise a fine brew.

very nice aroma, sweet fruity bitterness from alcohol takes my rating down, but it’s a great brew.

Golden hue, sweet yeasty and somewhat thin, sweet = carmel characteristics, above average.

This is another tripel I’ve always felt was slightly overrated, mostly because it continues to strike me as too thin and too sweet. Certainly the latter is probably what some folks dig about it. But for a beer of this strength, I want more balance instead of one characteristic dominating. Not bad by any stretch, and certainly it is an attractive beer in some ways. Just not my cup of tripel.
