Mmm, malts abound. Sweet and fruity and a hint of spice. Creamy body and so easy to drink. Lots of flavours from apple, banana, berries, clove, spice and honey. Great bitter bite at the finish.

UPDATED: DEC 13, 2010 750 ml bottle. 8.4%. From Sweden. HHOK8. Courtesy of Brandman.
Hazy yellow colour with small white head. Very fruity aroma with Belgian yeast, lots of banana, some sweetness, sugar and malt. Flavour is Belgian yeast, heavy fruitiness, sugar and lots of sweetness. Very fruity and slightly one dimentional. I guess this needs another round some time.

Thick white head, light gold in appearance. Spicy, malty aroma. The spiciness carries over into the taste, quite carbonated. Interesting aftertaste. Would highly recommend.

It was a saturday night in Brussels and I didn´t know what to order. A nice bloke at the table next to me told me to try this one. I am for ever grateful to this young man. The best beer I ever had? Possibly

On tap at KnB. Pours a golden color with decent amount of white head. Smells slightly floral, very Belgian. Sweet taste, some fruitiness. Drinkable, but not my favorite in this style.

Pours a pale, creamy light golden with a decent-sized white head and some good lacing. Smell has some nose Belgian esters alongside some citrus. Taste is similar. Quite smooth and nothing terribly intriguing, but overall quite good. Medium body with some nice carbonation and a bit dry. Very well done. Overall, not nearly one of the best tripels that I’ve had, but still a solid offering. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 08-10-2010
