From bottle. Clear blonde body with a white frotty head that lasts. Spicy clove nose with ginger, citrus, herbs. Very complex. Medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium sourness.Medium body, creamy, lively, long finish. Wonderful Tripel that hides its alcohol content with an amazing complexity of aromas and an incredible lightness in mouth. A must-drink!

Nice, relatively fluffy head. Golden to bronze color. Incredible fruity, estery, flowery aroma. Add banana, lemon and coriander to the taste. Finishes incredibly balanced - a light wheat, the smoothness of the oats and the semi-dry finish all make this beer really work out well in the end. I am a huge fan of this and Kwak!

bottle. Pours cloudy golden blonde color with big frothy white head. Aroma of wheat, lemon, spices, clove, fresh grain, hay. Palate is highly carbonated, smooth, refreshing, yet still packed with flavor and 8.4%. Nice soft fruitiness, pear, apple, honeysuckle, on the flavor, with a dry, spiced finish. As it warms up a little the honey really comes out, with a subtle lemon sourness, almost like lemoncake. Fully enjoying this, one of the nicer ones I’ve had in awhile.

Bottle from Bierkompass. Poured golden with a huge frothy white head, nice lasting lacing. Aroma is sweet with yeasty notes and very spicy. Flavor is similar, citric and slightly sour. Some alcoholwarmth as well. Finish is sweet. Very refreshing. What an excellent tripel!

33 cL bottle at 1410 World Bier Haus in Calgary, served in a Trappist glass. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. The head remains and leaves lots of fine white lace. The nose has notes of clove, yeast, citrus and spice. The flavour is a bit sweet, but well balanced with hops. It is medium-full in body with a smooth, milky texture and soft carbonation. Overall, this is a nice malty tripel. 2010-11-10
