COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blond, robust, smooth, and fruity three grain top fermented beer, refermented in the bottle. Brewed with pride and patience after Karmeliet tradition with wheat, oat and barley. 100% natural. Has been brewed at Van Steenberge for Brewery Bosteels for some time until recently.

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2012 Color: Light amber. Champagne like color. Aroma: Some lemon, yeast, Body: Malty sweet, a lot of wheat flavors, some sourness Finish: Long, more sweetness Over-all/Mouth-feel: A little to much sweetness for me.

07/24/11. looks like champagne. The head is tons of tight, bright white, little bubbles. You get whacked with lemon right upfront on the aroma, but the yeast quickly blends in giving it this like Lemon cookie kind of thing. There is a touch of spice, I wouldn’t say clove, maybe nutmeg, but it’s really faint; some grassiness there too. In the taste the lemon is pretty much ever present. It’s not super sour, but the yeast gives this an interesting twist. There’s a tang to it that is sweet but kinda weird. I get more of the spice in the taste than the smell, and a small amount of natural banana – not as dominant as the lemon though. It’s balanced and the alcohol is totally hidden. A bit boring... too much lemon sweetness for my liking.

fles 33cl. Kleur: helder goudegeel met een flinke witte schuimkraag. Geur: zoet en fruitig. Smaak: Zoet en fruitig. Sinaasappel? Licht bittere nasmaak. Prikkelend. Flink wat koolzuur. Erg lekker!

33 cl. bottle @ home. Golden with a white head. Strong floral. fruity, yeasty smell and taste with some spicy notes. Great tripel!

Spice and yeast aroma, a lot of head, so good head retention because of the oats, some hazy yellow in appearance. Very good carbonation. Yeast and wheat are very present in the taste, barley not noticeable at all, anyway it is a good one.
