Good, strong flower smell. There is a great fruit taste on the back end of the flavor. Good aftertaste but leaves quickly.

Beautiful golden color with thing large bubble head. Nice floral and fruity aroma and very smooth high quality feel. Fruity aftertaste that is a little sour.

Poured a light hazy straw gold with a very thick and profuse, creamy, off white head. The aroma was sweet and sharp, some spice, not as up front as expected. The flavor was spicy, warm from alcohol, dry hopped it seemed.

nice aroma of spice and pineapple. Pour is a bit disappointing with large bubbles and thin head. Flavour is great, range of fruits and some breadiness that finishes with a long bitter finish. Very good beer indeed, the alcohol does not interfere on the flavour profile.

Poured a hazy golden yellow tone with fierce carbonation and a densely packed creamy white head that lasted throughout. The nose was well spiced and sported a wheaty maltiness overlaid with tropical fruits, lemon zest and a peppery spiciness. The taste started with white bread maltiness and wispy yeast notes. A great blend of fruity sweetness like apple, papaya and mango counter the bold spiciness highlighted by the flavors of lemon zest and white pepper balancing it nicely. Zippy hops pop in the finish with a surge of alcohol for good measure. The feel was medium/full bodied with a nice velvety texture. This is a tripel’s tripel, a masterful blending of characters that make it dangerously quaffable. One of the finest examples of the style.

750 mL bottle. Slightly hazy yellow with fizzy white head. Earthy, bready, barn yard aroma. Bright lively palate. Sweet pear, green apple, and earthy taste.

Poured from the bottle into one of their nifty gift pack tulip glasses. Pale clouded tea color. Nose was vegetables, straight fresh greens. Head is small, 2 cm and very little lacing left on the glass. Light carbonation, very alcohol-heavy feel. Taste was the same, sweet greens and alcohol. The fermentation floats about in the mix the whole time which I found really fun. Some of it even floats up into the head. Very very unique tripel, quite brilliant.

33 cl bottle from Bieropholie, served at cellar temperature in a Tripel Karmeliet goblet.

App.: Clear golden with a formidable white foam that dissipates quickly. Aroma: Yeast and dough, citrus, honey, stone fruits, floral perfume, quite sweet. Palate: Medium-ish body, moderate effervescence. Flav.: Yeast/dough, grain and cereal, lighter fruits than the nose, still floral honey, a bit of citrus, alcohol comes through; on swallowing, there is more honey, vanilla, some light floral notes, a bit more alcohol and light citrus to finish; fairly sweet, a touch bright and only very subtly bitter.

Not a style a really dig. This is a nice example, but doesn’t have characteristics that make me love it. Great glass though...
