Apr 8, 2008 this is my favorite triple at the moment....great estery nose.....bigger body then alot of the other examples...but great fruity flavor and clean maltyness finishes up great....awesome stuff

Apr 8, 2008 stark white cotton head rose up and out of the tulip glass quickly, oops. easy, restrained dusty yeast aroma has hints of lemon and wheat. theres a sweetness to the oats, a dry character to the wheat and the foggy abbey yeast throughout.

Apr 7, 2008 Updated: Sep 11, 2009Sampled from a big 750 ml corked bottle. Pours a golden color, pretty clear not as hazy as I was expecting. Nice frothy head which leaves a lot of lacing on the glass. Aroma is bananas, vanilla and maybe a little grassy or hay-like which remains nice even after the bottle breathes a while. Smooth, pretty easy drinking but with a full enough mouthfeel. The flavor is much of the same; citrus, banana, vanilla with a little bit of a tangy tart alcohol presence. Somewhat spicy flavors which balances it nicely. Flavor doesn’t necessarily jump out at you but it’s very good.

Apr 6, 2008 De couleur or et orange, donne une bonne mousse blanche qui disparaît assez vite pour laisser une fine dentelle. Parfum de céréales, surtout le blé fermenté, d’épices, de citron, de gingembre et de résine.
Goût liquoreux, alcool très présent, chaud et piquant. Il y a bien du sucre et une finale légèrement cendrée. Un décèle un léger goût de sirop d’érable…?
Bouche assez simple malgré la richesse du goût, pétillant et piquant. L’Alcool bien senti réchauffe.
Très bonne bière.
Importations Bièropholie, bouteille de 33cl, bue dans le verre du brasseur.
Une très belle expérience!

Apr 5, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden amber with large white head. Malts and spicy aroma with strong taste of alcohol. Medium bodied, I found this one a little too sweet.

Apr 5, 2008 Copper in color with a large head that quickly disappears. Strong smell of alcohol and sweet malt. Three different grains give it some character. Strong is taste with a warm alcoholic burn.
