een zeer mooi helder donker goudachtige kleur. een zeer fruitig aroma en ook bij het proeven komen er smaken van fruit vrij maar ook granen. een zeer zoete smaak ook zowel als de afdrong.

On tap at the Lava Lounge, which by the way is about to become better than pretty much any bar in Des Moines..... big up to Waterloo. Pours a hazy sunny blonde color with a good head and lace. The aroma is floral and perfumery with some sweet orange peel, some raw grain, some bread dough, and some banana. The flavor is very doughy with some spiciness, some lemon and orange citrus flavor and some banana, it’s sweet but not cloying at all. The palate is very full.

Pours very light blond, looked kind of like a urine sample. No head. Smells of sweet malts. I think this is a neat beer and that comes through in the taste and palate. The oat serves to mellow out the beer and provides balance. The wheat then adds a nice hop component. Finally the taste has a big malty sweetness from the barley. Really neat and I was excited upona firt tasting to see the beer develop like this. Didn’t notice much from the hops save for a little bitterness here and there.

Bottle pour at The Porter Beer Bar in Atlanta. Beautiful color, yeasty and citrusy notes. A classic Tripel.

33cl bottle, 8.4%. Billowed from the bottle after popping the cap and poured an effervescent golden orange colour with a mild haze and a huge, lasting frothy white head leaving an OK lacing. Light, estery, lemony fruit notes, smooth orange juice and herbal, yeasty hops on the nose. Estery, Belgian yeast flavours, a good lemon sharpness and spicier hop tones, ending with a late and short bitter hop bite. A good upfront juiciness finshing with a delicate dryness. On the lighter side of medium in body, remaining crisp and refreshing with a medium carb sting and a bit of warmth in the throat.

Bière blonde aux reflets d’or.

Very nice. Bottle pour to trappist glass gives moderate golden yellow clear with thin white head. Aroma sweet and fruity. High carbonation. Taste fruits, grains, citrus, spices, slight alcohol. Finish very clean.

330mL bottle, 8.4% ABV. Pours clear pale gold with a fluffy white head that eventually disappears. Spicy, earthy and slightly fruity aroma. In the flavour a citrus oil-like sharpness is quite strong when cold but balances better when it warms up, and some fruity sweetness and acidity. Oddly enough, it’s much tastier near room temperature than at the recommended 6-9°C. The alcohol presence is well masked throughout. Light-medium bodied, lively carbonation and very creamy with a drying finish.
