Clear light amber color with dense white head. Orange aroma with a wierd sort of sprite-(like the soda)ness. I might as well be drinking sprite as well though there is orange; also it is really sweet and off. Wierd carbonation that sort of just fizzles out and is without substance. Awful but deserves a rerate. scotty (830), Scotland
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 31, 2008 Lovely beer, packed with surprisingly fresh malty/ fruity flavours, the alcohol content isn’t as obvious as I’d expected. Fairly complex, and very slightly sweet, but a cracker nevertheless. JamesD (194), Centreville, Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 30, 2008 A pretty good tripel. I’m not that big of a fan of tripels though, so I might be unappreciative. The color is light amber with a fruity, yeasty aroma. The flavor is light, energetic, creamy, yeasty, and fruity. I’m quite surprised the alcohol content is as high as it is. If I see this again for a good price, I will buy it. BuckeyeSammy (455), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 30, 2008 The only thing average about this beer is the color. Golden with a nice creamy white head, average lacing. Extremely carbonated at first taste. Great sweet yeast aroma, sweet fruity hints. Alcohol well hidden, spiced flavor.. light fruits and yeast. For the price, really enjoyed this triple. oreogobbler (217), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 30, 2008 Draught: Candy coated banana aroma, very sweet with nice malt notes. Dark Yellow on the verge of light brown. Nice soft fluffy head. The flavor is easily compared to banana flavored runts: Very sweet to sour over ripened bananas with some sweet raisin flavor in the finish. Full bodied and velvety smooth. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 28, 2008 Updated: Feb 1, 2008Bottle (330ml). Bastard of a thing exploded upon opening, the bottle cap hit the roof! – literally. Poured a mazy off orange colour with a tinge of brown and a good size, dense frothy head which was mostly lasting. Aroma was of orange zest, some malt, hints of cloves, mild bready notes and light vanilla in the back. Flavor was suburb and a lot more intense than aroma; more orange zest, dried apricots, some yeast, malt, light cinnamon, and a spicy/warming finish. Full bodied with lively carbonation, quite creamy mouthfeel and a great finish. I superb Tripel. ilovedarkbeer (1333), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 27, 2008 Large 750 champagne bottle. Green glass. Pours a nice golden color with a massive creamy head. Smells like czech hops. Sour skunky nose. Taste is completly different. Honey, yeasty, spice, sweetness, lemon and more. Really a great beer, and its a damn shame I drank it out of a solo cup. Whelk (124), Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England
